After breakfast, embark on a fascinating journey to Turtuk, a village that was opened to tourists in 2010. Annexed by India after the 1971 war, Turtuk stands as one of the only Balti villages in the country, nestled right next to the Line of Control (LOC). Despite its location, the village retains its cultural authenticity, resembling a mini Pakistan with its predominantly Muslim population. Explore Turtuk's unique charm, where traditional stone-crafted utensils are still used by villagers. Marvel at the stunning views of the Shyok Valley, with clear days offering glimpses of the majestic K2 mountain peak across the border in Pakistan.
